Spring season registration is open from December to February.

Fall season registration is open from May to July.

Parents/Guardians may request a refund via email to info@yysl.soccer.

YYSL will refund up to $100 if the request is submitted before the end of registration. Requests submitted after registration closes will be at the discretion of the League President. Jersey fees will be refunded if the player has not received a jersey.

As a recreational league, YYSL prefers that players be registered in their age-appropriate division. Requests for players to play up will be considered on a case-by-case basis—email the League after registering your player.

The division commissioners use the information provided at registration to create team rosters. Special requests or accommodations cannot be guaranteed.

YYSL uses fields at Cousler Park, Dallastown Area elementary schools, and York Township—our field usage changes from season to season based on availability and the size of our league. Refer to the Fields page for more information.

Generally, teams have a one-hour practice each week between 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Games are scheduled on Saturdays during each season. Times and locations vary throughout the season based on field availability.

Spring games start on the first Saturday in April.

Fall games start on the Saturday after Labor Day.

All YYSL coaches are volunteers. Some coaches have been with us for many seasons, while others are just getting started. As our league expands and coaches move up or retire, new volunteers will be needed. YYSL has opportunities for both head coach and assistant coach positions.

All players must wear shin guards inside soccer socks and soccer cleats during practices and games. Players must wear a YYSL jersey for games. A soccer ball and water bottle are recommended for practice.

No. Jerseys only need to be replaced when they no longer fit or are in disrepair.

Yes. Email the Equipment Manager with the player's name, jersey size, and team. The Equipment Manager will coordinate a jersey delivery. An invoice will be issued via TeamSnap and can be paid online.

Home wears lime. Away wears black.

If fields are closed, the league will send notification via email and post on Facebook by 4:00 p.m. on weekdays, and 7:00 a.m. on Saturdays. We cannot respond to email/Facebook inquiries about whether practices are canceled.

No updates are provided when fields are open.
